In the last week of January 2007 Dr. Michael Zapf, along with 12 other foot surgeons, spent a week in Tegucigalpa Honduras performing complex foot surgery. The doctors pay for their own air fare and hotel bill. The project still needs to raise $800 per child for supplies like cast materials and medicines so that there can be adequate aftercare. If these pictures move you, please consider helping by buying a RAFFLE TICKET for either $25,000 in cash or a 36 month all expense paid lease (including maintenance and 45,000 miles total). Click here for ticket information: These are just some of our patients. The second picture shows Dr. Zapf with a beautiful boy with a club foot that you can see in the third picture. The fourth picture shoes a high arch cavus foot that needed corrected and the second to the last shows a pair of very painful flat feet in an 8 year old boy. He should be playing soccer by now. The last picture on the right is of the surgical team. If you look closely you can see Dr. Zapf in the beige/tan scrubs over on the right side. And yes, that is him in the second picture as well.
